Exhaust gas cleaning system

Exhaust gas cleaning system, also known as exhaust gas cleaning system, exhaust gas desulfurization system, exhaust gas purification system and EGCS. EGC is the abbreviation of “Exhaust Gas Cleaning”. The existing ship EGCS is divided into two types: dry and wet. The wet EGCS uses seawater and fresh water with chemical additives to clean SOX and particulate matter; The dry EGCS uses granular hydrated lime to absorb SOX and particulate matter. Both methods have good sulfur removal effect and can achieve more than 90% purification efficiency, but each has advantages and disadvantages.

Dry ship EGCS

The dry ship EGCS uses granular hydrated lime to absorb SOX and particulate matter, which is mainly composed of absorber, storage tank, particle supply device, particle treatment device, control system, etc. The main process is fresh granular hydrated lime is supplied to the storage tank at the upper part of the absorber, after cleaning the SOX and particulate matter in the waste gas, it is transported to the particle treatment device for treatment through pipeline, and finally to the outside.

Wet ship EGCS

The wet ship EGCS uses seawater and fresh water with chemical additives to clean SOX and particulate matter. It is mainly composed of exhaust gas cleaner, cleaning water treatment device, suspended solids separator, sludge treatment device, seawater supply and discharge system, electrical control system, etc. Its main process is the cleaning water is pumped into the washer to wash the engine exhaust gas containing SO2, the purified exhaust gas is discharged through the chimney, and the acidic seawater after cleaning the exhaust gas, it enters the washing water treatment device for neutralization, making it friendly to the marine ecological environment after discharge.
