    The ship shore power distribution box (hereinafter referred to as the shore power box) is a special ship power supply guarantee equipment installed in the port terminal. The device is suitable for a three-phase AC power distribution system with a working frequency of 50-60Hz and a rated working voltage of 220V/380V. It provides a fast and safe standard shore power interface for ships calling at the port, and realizes ship cable power supply, data collection, billing and settlement.

    When ships are berthed or docked for repairs, they are generally connected to shore power. Especially for regular ships, docking at a certain wharf, the shore power connection device is installed on the wharf, so that the ship can use shore power as soon as the ship docks, and all the generator sets on the ship can be shut down. On the one hand, the generator set can be maintained or repaired normally.

    Shore power operation:

    (1) First, connect the power cable to the shore power terminal of the shore power box, close the shore power distribution switch, and the shore power indicator light on the shore power box is on.
    (2) The phase sequence measuring device on the power box detects the phase sequence of the shore power, and the three-phase load of the phase sequence detector circuit is asymmetrical. When the phase connected to the capacitor is set to phase A, the brighter phase is phase B, and the darker phase is phase C. When the phase sequence of shore power and ship power is the same, close the switch in the shore power box If the phase sequence is inconsistent, the two of the shore power cables connected to the shore power terminal must be interchanged (these work is generally undertaken by the shore staff).
    (3) Operation of shore power board In front of the main switchboard, when the shore power indicator on the board is on, it indicates that the shore power has been sent to the shore power switch of the main switchboard. At this time, the operation mode of the main generator and emergency generator should be set to the manual position. Disconnect the main switch of the generator and close the shore power switch immediately after the whole ship’s power grid loses power; if the shore power switch is on the emergency switchboard, the shore power switch should be closed before the emergency switchboard after the power grid is cut off. The ship’s power grid has been switched to shore power.
